The 8079-O ultra-high-purity aluminum foil with advanced adhesive-layer treatment (0.016–0.025 mm thickness, 300–1300 mm customizable width, dual-side PP/PE adhesive + anti-corrosion primer) is the global energy-storage industry’s first-choice material for ultra-safe, long-life soft-pack lithium-ion pouch cells.
Alloy 8079-O: tensile 95–125 MPa, elongation > 13 %, pinhole ≤ 15 pcs/m².
Special adhesive-layer system: 85 °C/85 % RH + electrolyte immersion > 8000 h, peel strength > 20 N/15 mm, zero delamination.
Fully compliant with GB/T 36276, UL 1642, IEC 62133, UN38.3.
Result: pouch cells that deliver 15+ years and 4000+ cycles without swelling or leakage, reduce weight 45 % vs prismatic metal case, and seal 60 % faster on high-speed lines.
